2019-nCoV Photos from Chinese Social Media: Novel Coronavirus Outbreak

The current outbreak of novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) was first reported from Wuhan, China, on 31 December 2019. Let’s look at some of the photos circulating in the Chinese social media.

The Chinese government and WHO are working closely with global experts, governments and partners to rapidly expand scientific knowledge on this new virus, to track the spread and virulence of the virus, and to provide advice to countries and individuals on measures to protect health and prevent the spread of this outbreak.

Since 21 January 2020, Disease Outbreak News have been replaced with daily situation reports. A total of 1,153 patients infected with the novel coronavirus had been discharged from hospital after recovery by the end of Wednesday, Chinese health authorities said on Thursday (11th Feb 2020).

Uber has suspended the accounts of 240 users in Mexico who may have been in contact with drivers that ferried a person suspected of having the deadly coronavirus.

Nigerian Thoracic Society has declared Nigeria a high risk country for Coronavirus epidemic ravaging some parts of China.
